Although the shower design could use some improvement, as it tended to splash everywhere, the staff's friendliness made our short stay enjoyable. We were close to many attractions, like the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts, which was perfect for our concert getaway.

    Suitable for solo travelers seeking comfort

    The bed was super comfortable, and the linens were really soft. It felt great crawling in after a long day, and I appreciated having everything I needed to work, charge multiple devices, make coffee.

    It wasn't cheap, but you know. I guess you pay for comfort.

    Very nice area, much within walking distance.

    Breakfast room does not fit the ambience of the hotel, too rustic. Breakfast itself was absolutely ok.

    The ambience in the hotel was pleasant. The bar was reasonably well stocked. There was a small coffee shop next door. Illy, I think. The quality of the coffee was really good.

    The rooms were obviously only superficially cleaned. I could discover dust on the glass surfaces every day. The dust was not removed even after the request. The bathroom, however, was very clean!
